Queen Jesus Talks

These four, themed post-show discussions were curated as part of the festival celebrating the tenth anniversary of The Gospel in October and November 2019 at the Tron Theatre in Glasgow.

The four discussions featured short provocations and reflections from the Queen Jesus teams in the UK and Brazil, plus experts in academia, activism and faith.

The rich, nuanced and informative talks invited audiences to engage with the play’s guiding themes and principles and focused on four themes unearthed in the play: Queer freedom and the future; transtheology; history of the play 2009-2019; and Art, Activism and Censorship.
